The Assistant Manager - Revenue for Global Finance Operation is responsible for the Revenue processes and quality of financial accounting data for the US Private and Institutional Revenues assigned.
The Assistant Manager - Revenue shall ensure complete, accurate and timely completion of all process related to Billing, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger. Key to the role is completion of Period Close Activities (monthly and year-end) based on agreed timelines.
The Assistant Manager - Revenue is also the primary point of contact for their assigned region/s and shall resolve issues and proactively facilitate communication between the SSC and business units.
Responsible for valuation, recording, reporting and reconciliation of revenue to include Institutional Revenue and Private contributions (e.g. split interest agreements, promise to give and other complex gifts).
S/He will work with internal and external partners and auditors to provide assistance with interim testing, year-end audits and will also provide support for other compliance testing. S/he will work with other members of the accounting team to provide auditors with necessary documentation and accurate explanations in a timely manner
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with emphasis in accounting
• 7 years of CARE Experience with emphasis on Finance and Accounting.

EXPERIENCE
• At least 7 years of Managerial / Supervisory experience in Accounting / Audit Technical
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• High Proficiency with Accounting/Finance System, Grants Management System, MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Experience encompassing establishing/maintaining grants management tools and/or database, transaction analysis, donor reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation
• Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality regarding all aspects of work at all times
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
