RESPONSIBILITIES

The focus of the Product Marketing team is on understanding our target markets and their needs. Your team is responsible for developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enabling the sales and marketing teams to ensure they’re aligned and utilise the same messaging. Your team will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop the strategic marketing plan at the product level. Your team will create campaign strategies and partner with other marketing teams for the execution of these campaigns, including the graphic design, content marketing, SEO, marketing operations, digital advertising and social media teams.

Lead, coach and motivate a team of four to maximise their potential. Ensure team members meet or exceed their KPIsEnsure your team are product experts and evangelists within the organisation, developing and regularly refreshing:Campaign strategiesCustomer personasPricing strategiesCompetitor analysis (at an organisation, price and feature level)Industry insights and environmental analysisProduct positioning and market shareCustomer research (qualitative and quantitative)New market/segment opportunitiesRegularly analyse, measure and report on team KPIs and the success of initiatives and campaigns, including go-to-market campaigns. Use data to drive decision makingWork closely with product, sales, and other marketing teams to identify customer segments and new opportunitiesContribute to the product roadmap based on in-depth customer knowledgeDetermine product pricing by utilising market research dataContribute to the marketing strategy drawing upon your in depth knowledge of our target customers’ needs, the competitive landscape, and market trendsProvide market intelligence and buyer insights to sales, product, and marketing teamsCreate and maintain product value propositions and messaging that differentiates our brands in the marketplace. Educate and guide other teams to ensure consistency in messaging across business unitsBuild campaign concepts, working with internal teams to execute

REQUIREMENTS

At least 5 years in a marketing role with at least 2 years of experience in product marketing2+ years marketing software (SaaS) in a B2B organisationExperience developing marketing and campaign strategies, in particular customer personas, product positioning, competitor analysis, industry and environmental analysis, customer research and pricing strategyExcellent communication skills and grasp of the English language, both written and verbal
