The Tax Compliance Manager is the overall in-charge of all tax related reporting and regulatory compliance of Inspiro across all locations, such us but is not limited to, Philippines, US, Nicaragua, Australia, and Japan.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures strict compliance of each entity on all tax regulatory requirements of Regulatory Agencies like Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and similar agencies.Ensures compliance with Philippine Eco
nomic Zone Authority (PEZA) reportorial requirements to maintain the current incentives, assists legal and facilities management team on Income Tax Holiday (ITH) application for new/expansion projectsWorks with LGU offices in securing business permits and licensesWorks directly with US tax compliance partner in preparing tax provisions, deferred/current tax calculations and preparation of US Federal and State tax returns.Coordinates with tax co
nsultants on the completion and updating of Transfer Pricing Study for the Group.Manages the tax reporting and compliance work for Philippine entities doing the review of tax computations, transfer pricing allocation, and passing a journal entry to record the same.Spearheads tax efficiency projects by maximizing the benefits of tax treaty agreementsSecures relevant rulings to support the Group’s position on certain tax issuesProvides management with recommendation on the most tax efficient corporate structuring, especially on M&A activitiesHighly involved on due diligence activities , divestments and investmentsLeads filing of tax refunds with the BIR (CWT, VAT) , as neededHandles BIR Letter of Assessments (LOAs) and Notices (LNs), PEZA and other LGU notices/assessments.Liaises with tax authorities in the immediate closure of tax assessmentsCoordinates with the Finance Heads across the globe.Reviews and updates process maps, ensures strict compliance with JSOXPrepares BOD presentation materials and co
nducts regular presentation to managementEnsures timely updating of Finance Manual, policies and procedures and disseminates the same to co

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in AccountancyMust be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Must have at least 5 years work experience in Accounting and/or Finance Auditing, specializing in Tax and Regulatory ComplianceMust have at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership roleMust have excellent leadership and managerial skillsMust be highly proficient in Microsoft ExcelMust be able to effectively present information to management.
