HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) GENERALIST

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sourcing and recruitment of qualified applicants for open positions, and working with department managers to identify the skills and competencies required for each rolePerforms employee verification and background checks on eligible candidatesConducts new hire on-boarding and other training as requiredEnsures continuous compliance with local labor lawsHandles all employee-related concerns, inquiries, and other routine HR services (time and attendance, leave management, employee benefits, etc)Maintains and updates employee records and all HR-related documentationInitiates and collaborates with department managers in the conduct of employee performance reviews and recognition programsAssists in the development and preparation of company policies and facilitates the subsequent implementation of the samePromote a culture that cultivates a thirst for growth and excellence while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in related field – ie. Psychology, Human Resources, etc.Minimum three (3) years experience with general knowledge of the different HR facets, including but not limited to:  workforce planning, policy formulation, training and development, labor relations, compensation and benefits, etc.In-depth understanding and familiarity with Philippine labor lawSuperior verbal and written English communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsPro-active, detailed, and results orientedEffective organizational skills and time managementAbility to work under pressure with minimal supervision while delivering high quality results in a fast-paced environment

* Note: High priority for candidates residing within a 5km radius from the Masterclass office located in Mandaluyong City. (i.e San Juan, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, Pasig, or otherwise willing to relocate.
