Job Description

The Audit Officer (Non-Medical unit) shall be responsible for planning and execution of complete reviews of assigned audit engagements. He/She will also assist or lead in the review of extensive audit assignments and special audit projects, in accordance with the approved work plan and acceptable professional standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Assists in developing and executing the risk-based audit planSurveys functions and activities of the assigned area to gain an understanding of the existing governance, risk management, or control processes.Performs the audit in a professional manner and in accordance with the approved Audit Program GuideArranges audit procedures to be done and documents to be used for review to ensure proper time management.Identifies the root cause for internal control deficiencies and is able to provide suggestions for corrective action, including evaluating management action responses to address the root cause.Makes appropriate strategies to properly manage the working budget.evaluates the need for extension of audit scope/testing or additional audit procedures to be performed based on the progress of the review and discuss the same with the supervisor.Makes oral and written presentations to middle management during and at the conclusion of the examination, discussing results/deficiencies/deviations, recommending corrective actions, and suggesting improvements in operations.

Job Requirement:

Graduate of B.S. Accountancy or auditing-related course/ B.S

Nursing or related courses from a school/university

Above average in academic performanceComputer literateAbove-average verbal and written communication skills, ability to relate effectively with different customersKnowledge of generally accepted auditing standards; sound knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices; knowledge of a variety of reporting procedures, regulations, and law;Must have basic knowledge in internal controls, risks, flowcharting,

and/or process mapping; must be highly analytical

With administrative acumen; strong drive to keep abreast with the

current trends in the industry

Ability to efficiently and effectively handle simultaneous projects/tasksWith a high sense of integrity and responsibility, and highly dependable in matters of confidentiality and output
