As a Project Accountant, you will be based in the Philippines and will support our Project Managers in the UK. Our business is growing rapidly and in this exciting opportunity you will be a key member of the Finance team, supporting the successful, profitable delivery of our projects to our clients. Other responsibilities may be assigned depending on management needs.Duties and Responsibilities:Supporting monthly project reviews with Project ManagersInputting project financial data into Oracle NetSuite, our ERP, in a timely, accurate fashion, to ensure up to date, accurate project financialsSupporting with project profitability reporting to support the analysis of business performanceSetting up new projects in NetSuiteSetting up new clients in NetSuiteSetting up new suppliers in NetSuiteClosing projects in NetSuite, in a timely fashionReforecasting projects in line with the Project Managers’ requirementsApplying change orders/variations to the project in line with the Project Manager’s instructionsEnsuring billing is completed as per Project Managers’ instructions for both fixed fee and time and materials projectsFiling project contracts in the appropriate SharePoint siteMonitoring the Project Admin Inbox for project set up issues and responding promptly, as requiredCarrying out inter-project time and expense transfers and billing between operating companies in the GroupChecking and ensuring the correct revenue recognition is applied to projectsInterpreting and clarifying project results, including commentary on deviations, the underlying causes and corrective actions to be takenMonitoring work in progress & unbilled receivables and producing regular Work In progress (WIP) reports in an agreed formatMaintaining forecast and actual project billing datesIdentifying opportunities for continuous process improvement on an ongoing basisPreparing and updating process documentation in compliance with standard project accounting processesPerforming other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your Manager.REQUIREMENTS - WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFYRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or part qualified accountantStrong technical accounting skills, ideally in the context of project accounting1 to 3 years of relevant working experienceExposure in Shared Service or Multinational environment is an advantageProficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) is essentialExcellent English language written and verbal communication skillsGood interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProactive self-starter with first class organizational ability, who is detail oriented, and results focused, and able to oversee and support the financial administration of several projects at onceProactive and a committed team playerCan work under pressure and minimal supervisionCan work on flexible hours to meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlinesExperience working with and managing contracts preferredProficient ability to detect errors and inconsistenciesExperience of working in the professional services sector is advantageousPreferred:Experience with Oracle NetSuite
