Job Summary
The Tax Compliance and Financial Reporting officer is responsible in handling and managing of all tax related matters, financial review and reporting in FGC+.
Job Scope
Tax Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines required by local and natio
nal government units or agencies (e.g. LGU, SEC, NSO, BIR, etc.).Preparation, review and filing of tax declarations, returns and reports together with the necessary supporting computations and docu
ments required by the tax authorities.Preparation, review and filing of VAT refund applications. Organizing periodic internal tax compliance review or audit to ensure readiness and integrity of financial information.Recommend system, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with tax laws, rules and regulations.
Financial Reporting
Comprehensive review and analysis of financial statements. Preparation and execution of financial reviews with emphasis on business risks, compliance and self-assessment.Delivery of reports on the results of internal financial review/audit, which includes actions and comments of department managers/business process ownersReview of financial co
ntrol processes. Other ad hoc tasks commensurate to the role.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in tax compliance, review and filing of VAT refund applications, handling tax audits or cases. (Preferably at any of the Big-4 accounting firms) Comprehensive knowledge of Philippines Tax Laws, rulings its application to domestic and foreign transactions.Certified Public Accountant is required in this role Excellent analytical and communication skills.
