Job Summary:The bookkeeper position creates financial transactions and creates financial reports from that information. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices. The bookkeeper also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy.Duties and Responsibilities:Willing to be assigned in Cebu City, Mandaue City, and Lapu-Lapu CityMaintains records of all financial transactionsPrepares and reviews checks and check vouchersReleases checks to suppliers and/or contractorsPrepares cash position reports, financial statement and bank reconciliationReviews documents needed for processing of payment to suppliers and contractorsCoordinates with the auditor (internal and external)in the periodic audit of the condominium's booksChecks/reviews billing statements before distributionHandles inventory of office suppliesEnsures the payments/remittance of mandates government dues such as EWT, RET VAT, etc.Can start as soon as possibleQualificationsGraduate of BS Accountancy or BSBA Major in Financial ManagementPreferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalentWith at least 2 years working experience and knowledge when it comes to General Accounting facets and making financial statementsCandidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
