Job Description

The Data Entry Operator is responsible for searching and entering data in a databases. He/she should ensure that records are up-to-date, accurate, and of valuable useable company information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Production Responsibilities

Must possess good comprehension skills to understand provided instructions or feedback from clientProven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office ClerkExperienced with MS Office and data programsFamiliarity with administrative duties is a plusMust possess above average typing speed and accuracyHas excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuationHas organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasksAdditional computer training or certification will be an assetMust be detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervisionMust constantly communicate and coordinate both with onshore and offshore teams for clarification and/or follow-up

Process Production Responsibilities

Enrich provided leads data by searching for the most up-to-date and accurate contact information in the webResearch and obtain further information for incomplete leadsReview data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check outputEnter company and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents to the client’s systemSend back completed file of enriched leads / bounced emails to the Sales Assistants within 48 business hoursAttend client calls and raise observed issues for clarificationComply with data integrity and security policiesEnsure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions via coordination with IT

Maintain productivity and accuracy standards for the role and submit to PerformanceImprovement Plan (PIP) when necessaryAccept tasks assigned by superiors and/or Team Leader, Manager with minimal handoverRegularly coordinate, collaborate and interact with team members to ensure cross-learning and continuous improvement.Abide by the policies and rules of the company and act in a professional manner at all timesPerform/render other duties or special projects, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job
