JOB DEscriptION:We are looking for an Accounting Junior Supervisor who will assist the Accounting Supervisor in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the Accounting Department. The Junior Accounting Junior Supervisor’s responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and managing payroll, generating financial forecasts and reports, ensuring tax compliance, and monitoring cash flows. The candidate is required to adhere to internal controls through reliable financial reporting, and compliance with laws and regulations, and policies.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and manage payroll including bi-monthly payroll, 13th-month pay, loan computation, salary adjustments, and salary release.Generate monthly projected cash outflows and report actual weekly and monthly cash outflows.Maintain cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements.Prepare general ledger journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.Verify check amounts against invoices, and authorize check transfers to approve cash disbursements.Release, record, and replenish petty cash.Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.Review finalized audited financial reports on a monthly basis.Accurately prepare tax returns and ensure that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.Handle tax compliance and other mandatory regulations of government agencies, such as BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig, LGU, and CDC.Prepare & submit Purchase orders for Vendors on items to purchasesSupervise and provide overall guidance to accounting staffJOB REQUIREMENTS:Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.At least 3 years of supervisory experience in Finance, General/Cost Accounting, or equivalentProfessional licenses are not required in this position.Worked in a US Company with a close reporting relationship with American managers and/or chief executivesKnowledgeable in accounting practices, auditing, and making financial reviews and reports in conformity with the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Abreast with US accounting and tax rules and regulationsHighly proficient in using Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsMust be highly detail-oriented, smart, and quick-witted
