Job Description

What does it take to be successful in this role?

The successful candidate will provide a broad range of high-level administrative services to the Insurance Team whilst following relevant compliance requirements.

He will also work closely with the Senior Administrative Assistant in providing administration and support to clients to continue building long-standing client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer and direct phone callsOrganize and schedule appointmentsPlan meetings and take detailed minutesWrite and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and formsAssist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reportsDevelop and maintain a filing systemMaintain contact listsAct as the point of contact for internal and external clientsLiaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's or college degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or a related field.Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant or Office Admin AssistantKnowledge of office management systems and proceduresWorking knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machinesProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)Excellent English, written and verbal skills is required.Has the ability to understand, and execute complex written and verbal instructions.Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity.Attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills.Must be motivated and a self-starter, positive attitude, resourceful, and dependable.Disciplined follow-up on action items.Confidentiality: Must be able to safeguard sensitive information.
