Job Description:

Operational processing for 1) the family of the client's hedge funds; 2) AVM’s introducing broker business, and 3) AVM Solution’s clientsRelentless focus on proactively seeking out and mitigating operational riskDomestic & international bond clearing -- Fed, DTC, Euroclear, CREST, etc.Derivatives processing -- interest rate swaps and credit derivativesWire processingReconcile cash on the daily trading system vs. debits & credits at the bankReconcile positions and activity, of all trade types, on a dailyFX hedging & trade executionProcess electronic and paper confirmationsInteract with administrators, prime brokers, custodians, FCMs, counterparties, and, brokersProcess and investigate corporate actionsMiscellaneous processing for various financial products such as loans, TBAs, futures, and, equitiesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or, a similar fieldIndustry experience to include rates and credit operations is preferredExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to execute consistentlyAttention to detailStrong communication skillsStrong technical skillsProgramming skill is a plus
