The IP Pricing Analyst will provide a full service for the trademark prosecution process of clients' IP rights, using IP systems which have been and/or may be deployed from time to time; and provide full administrative support in processing trademark-related correspondence and issuing instructions to correspondent law firms.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate, analyse and process incoming correspondence relating to IP matters received from Baker McKenzie offices, IP clients and additional global law firmsIdentify key deadlines and update client records accordingly using an electronic IP management systemCreate records and co-ordinate IP matter work plans to relevant IP attorneys based on new instructions received from IP clients and Baker McKenzie managing officesUpdate global records with accurate and consistent data throughout the trademark registration, renewals and maintenance processDocket and review actions (i.e. e-docket) relevant to the client's trademark portfolio managementProvide agents with instructions to renew trade marks in a timely manner or to allow trade marks to lapse in accordance with clients' recommendations, including: updating trademark records based on agreed procedures and processes, generating reports of registrations due for renewal for a certain period and process renewal instructionsCommunicate via email with internal colleagues and global clientsProactively review operational processes, actively recommend operational and process improvementsManage own workload by allocating work items based on order of prioritiesPerform record-auditing of trade marks during client intake or when necessaryClosely coordinate with the specialists, leaders on issues which may affect the clients' IP rightsParticipate in the implementation and execution of the agreed initiatives and action items in the business plan and other business improvement programsPerform other tasks and activities as may be assigned by the Management Team or leaders from time to time

Required Skills:

Bachelor degree.6/12 months' working in a trade marks private practice or corporate administrative environment, preferably in a virtual document environment.Strong analytical and comprehension skillsAbove average English communication skillsCan handle multiple tasks while maintaining great accuracy, consistency and quality in data entry and administrative workAbility to prioritize and work independently with limited supervisionA strong commitment to outstanding client serviceWorking outside normal business hours may be necessaryTeam player, with a pleasant and positive approach to a sometimes heavy workloadAble to establish and maintain effective working relationshipExceptional work ethic, personal and professional integrityBasic skill level in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
