Database Administrator Microsoft SQL Focus

We are looking for an experienced MSSQL Server DBA to join our team! As a MSSQL Server DBA you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems both internally, and in our Clients environments.

MSSQL Server DBA duties and responsibilities

Manage MSSQL Server databasesConfigure and maintain database servers and processesMonitor system's health and performanceEnsure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and securityAnalyze, solve, and correct issues in real timeProvide suggestions for solutionsRefine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesAssist developers with query tuning and schema refinementProvide 24x7 support for critical production systems as neededPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hoursFine Tune Database and recommend improvements

SQL Server DBA requirements and qualifications

minimum of 5 years of experience as a MSSQL Server DBA or similar roleminimum of 5 years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)minimum of 5 years of experience with backups, restores and recovery modelsminimum of 3 years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Serverminimum of 7 years of experience with Windows server, including Active DirectorySense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s successCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsMCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus
