Product Software Trainer

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Role will be based in any one of our main offices in Singapore or India. This role’s mandate is drive proper adoption of ShipSure across the organisation as the core operational platform and work with the technology team in continually strengthening the experience of colleagues and clients. This role also involves showcasing the features of ShipSure to existing and new clients and creates an informal network of V. Group contacts.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

•Ensure that all users of the ShipSure, within your office and region know how to best use the product and help drive adoption of the ShipSure product.

•Be able to take the lead and demo the ShipSure product to the existing clients, other business units and colleagues within the wider VGroup.

•Be able to demonstrate the product to potential clients and be able to discern and highlight specific areas of ShipSure functionality that best meet the clients' operational requirements, based on input and feedback from the client and colleagues within the commercial team

•Build and expand on the existing ShipSure Superuser Community to influence increased usage of ShipSure in respective business areas and enable a communal way of working.

•Effectively persuade leadership to drive adoption of ShipSure usage for their respective regions/teams

•Provide coaching on usage of ShipSure using a “hands off” approach to drive a self-reliance & resolution of challenges

•Work with the larger ShipSure Product Genius community to align on focus areas, priorities, and best practices to drive adoption

•Drive the culture of ShipSure usage as a tool to make individuals and overall operations more effective and efficient

•Stakeholder Feedback (MDs, ODs & Technology Leadership)

KEY SUCCESS MEASURES:

1. Delivery of agreed transformation projects withing agreed scope i.e. time, cost & quality.

2. KPI/CPI improvements as agreed with the Head of OE /Business Head.

3. Stakeholder Feedback (done on a semi-annual/annual basis).

Essential

•Highly IT literate with good experience in ERP systems.

•Passion for education and ability to instruct in a “hands-off” manner, allowing users to learn by doing.

•Good understanding of the maritime industry

•Experience in speciality area, e.g., Planned Maintenance, Accounts, Procurement or Workforce management

•Ability to shine the light on key feature sets and align them to specific new client operations.

•Ability to coach individuals, teach small teams and larger groups.

•Developing and maintaining strong business relationships, working in partnership with all departments and management across V.Group. You must have the ability to be a strong influencer.

•Build and maintain demonstration scenarios ready for rapid deployment.

•Passion for education and ability to instruct in a “hands-off” manner, allowing users to learn by doing.

Desirable

•Experience in coaching and teaching would be an advantage.

•Self-motivated and self-directed and can adhere to a tightly structured training and/or rollout schedule.

•Adept at recommending support options and can use a variety of training methodologies to meet objectives.

•A positive, proficient communicator (both verbal and written communications)

•A confident presenter and a fast learner who enjoys the challenge of learning new things

•A working knowledge of ERP Systems

•Able to identify common areas where colleagues have ShipSure knowledge gaps and can create and deliver coaching sessions to meet those requirements

•A positive ambassador of ShipSure

•Confident in structuring and delivering webinars

•Able to work well with colleagues - assisting them to get the most from ShipSure
