In the Philippines, Mediabrands was founded in 2015 by the late and beloved Venus Reyes-Navalta and is registered in SEC as IPG Mediabrands Philippines, Inc. We are structured in the country as an umbrella company of a number of brands or business units such as UM, Initiative, Reprise, Magna, Orion, MediaBrands Content Studio (MBCS), plus our now affiliates Kinesso and Matterkind that incorporated its own company in 2021 to form Kinesso Philippines, Inc.

We are looking for a STRATEGIC PLANNER who can join our UM (media agency) team:

THE STRATEGIC PLANNER ROLE

STORYTELLER, CREATIVE THINKER, PASSIonATE about ConSUMER INSIGHTS

An effective storyteller that can translate data into a seamless story that not only points to a clear strategy, but also becomes the document that serves as the voice of the customer for partners and clients better understand the target audience.Ability to immerse her/himself in the consumers’ minds, spotting trends, and coming up with stories that represent what motivates our consumers of today.Creative-thinker, able to write connection insights, strategic opportunities that is rooted in culture, will live and thrive in communities and will translate in commerce/ business for our clients. 

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication Research, Statistics, or any-related courseMust have at least 2 years of experience in marketing/market research / media / advertisingMust have fundamental knowledge (not necessarily proficient, but aware / knowlegeable) about media basics such as media planning, media buying processes, etc.

DATA-DRIVEN, ANALYTICAL, FAMILIARITY WITH AUDIENCE SEGMENTATION

Must have experience with Audience Segmentation techniques using a blend of first, secondary, and third party dataMust have experience in using and integrating data (first, secondary and third party) to establish category and brand landscapesHas experience with social listening, mining secondary data (e.g. Euromonitor, GA 360, CrowdTangle, Global Web Index, Nielsen CMV, etc.)Knowledge / proficiency in market research is a plus
