Roles and Responsibilities
● Write clear, compelling copy for various sales and marketing mediums (e.g. emails, presentations, other sales collateral)
● Be the sales copywriting subject matter expert in a high performing NBD team
● Collaborate with marketing and account managers on business development, sales and marketing projects
● Partner with graphic designers to use design as a function to elevate messaging around value propositions
● Edit and proofread copy as needed
● Conduct research on target customers to ascertain information to implement needs based selling techniques
● Build, provide input and elevate sales presentations based on client insights
● Develop and maintain target lists of target customers for outbound email campaigns
● Research and qualify target prospects using a variety of sales and marketing tools & inputting data into a database
● Be a team focused player
Qualifications & Skills
● Demonstrable compelling copywriting skills
● Ability to coach teammates around copywriting and other sales techniques
● Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
● Strong stakeholder management skills
● Proven experience as a copywriter, tender writer, BD role
● Able to quickly build professional rapport with individuals
● Able to multitask between projects
● Strong research skills
● Highly analytical and creative
● Proven ability to deliver goals and objectives
● Ability to adapt to new tools and software
● Experience in using any CRM, knowledgeable with HubSpot is an advantage
● Proficient in MS Office and Google apps
