A Health Provider Relations Officer is the one who works on and or facilitates the accreditation of hospitals and clinics in order to provide quality healthcare services to health card members
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Accredits/orients Health Providers
Accredits Health Providers in areas of operatio
nNegotiates for the reduction of cash/surety bond or its co
nversion to revolving fundCo
nducts orientation/re-orientation of Health Providers staffEnrolls and updates accredited Health Providers in systemRegular updates of Health Providers in directory listEnrolls and updates accredited Physicians in the system
2) Manages/maintains Health Provider accounts
Establishes/maintains rapport with accredited Health Providers through co
nstant communication with the different co
ncerned departments/perso
nsConducts regular visits to Health Providers to maintain good relatio
nsCalls all Health Providers regularly to service their needs/request (e.g. forms/standee/re-orientation/renewal of contract)Update Health Provider information (e.g. address, co
ntact nos., clinic hours, etc.)Mo
nitors expiration of hospital MOAs and prepare those for renewalRecommends priority service providers for payments
3) Assists different Concerns
