about AAT LSS FILTRATION DESIGN SERVICE

The AAT LSS Filtration Design team is an inhouse division of Advanced Aquarium Technologies (AAT), a global leader in the design, construction and operation iconic public aquariums. (See our projects here: www.advanced-aquariums.com/projects.)

From international headquarters in Australia, AAT also installs feature aquariums in major public spaces – such as hotels, airports and hospitals – and supplies underwater windows to the swimming pool construction industry.

AAT’s Philippine-based LSS Filtration Design team delivers collaborates with our aquarium architect and life support system specialists and other technical experts in Australia, China, Europe and the USA, providing customer-ready, world-class design services and technical drafting solutions.

about the Role

As a Draftsperson you will be required to produce high-quality technical drawings utilising Revit BIM Software across all phases of a project. Drawings will be used for design coordination, development of costs, construction and fabrication.

Ideally you will have experience in MEP drafting with familiarity in technical architectural or shop / fabrication drawings an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Development of high-quality technical drawings in line with AAT standards and protocolsDevelopment of accurate Revit BIM models to drive efficiency and accuracy across the project lifecycle, from conceptual design, visualisation and analysis to fabrication and constructionCreation of highly detailed Revit library models of complex filtration systems and equipmentProduce schedules and export data from Revit modelsUtilise Navisworks and BIM360 to coordinate other consultant modelsUndertake drawing updates from clash detection reports and mark upsUtilise office project management software ‘Wrike’ to communicate and coordinate with project designers and managersCreate drawings from design book informationLiaise with project designers and production teams to create documentation suitable for construction and manufacturingUnderstand and comply with Company Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical codes

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate the following:

You must possess at least a Diploma / Certification in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Drafting (Mechanical, Industrial or other), Architecture or equivalent.Experience with mechanical and plumbing drafting using Revit MEP.Must have strong command over Revit.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.Proficient in English, both verbally and in written.Good personal time management and coordination skills.Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated and professional.Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal, and written communication skills.Conversant with current best practise drawing techniques 

Other desirable qualifications:

Qualifications and experience in aquaria projects, fabrication and constructionAbility to use other 3D software including Sketchup, 3Ds Max and BlenderAbility to use AutoCAD

Salary is negotiable and will be based on level of experience and alignment with attributes above upon selection.
