UNIT HEAD - LUBRICANTS

Job Summary

The Unit head for Lubricants uses technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide support and solution on a range of Ravenol products. The role serves as a key point of contact for clients and provides both pre-sales and after-sales solution.

Job Description

1.    Provides customer assistance and technical support to internal and external stakeholders in relation to the use, application, and acceptance of Ravenol products.

2.    Creates value-added Ravenol products and technical services rendered to external customers by way of technical programs being implemented and to differentiate from competition.

3.    Develops and/or implements technical selling programs that enable achievement of lubes volume targets.

Job Responsibilities

1.    Ensures the development of technical knowledge and skills of the Lubricants Sales team by providing assistance in field testing when required for the purpose of product acceptance.

2.    Promotes the quality, usage, and advantages vis-à-vis its competitive equivalent of Revenol products by providing support in the information dissemination of these products to the Management.

3.    Conducts technical seminars, trainings, and/or presentations on product-related topics, product applications, proper storage and handling, as well as innovative technical programs (such as field trials) to customers, to emphasize the advantage of the use of Ravenol oil in their respective fields during bidding and product reviews involving Ravenol and its equivalent competitive products.

4.    Serves as the consultant/expert in the field of lubrication by attending conferences and seminars to keep abreast with current trends in technology developments and representing the company in various technical societies and organizations.

5.    Collaborates with the Lubricants Sales team in procuring new industrial, retail, and fleet customers.

6.    Ensures the proper use, application, and acceptance of Ravenol products by providing after-sales technical assistance to internal and external customers through periodic calls, and proper monitoring and maintenance.

7.    Addresses customer concerns/complaints with regard to the quality of lubricant products.

Job Qualification

1.    Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mining Engineering.

2.    At least 5 years of relevant experience and solid background obtained from the industrial or commercial setting; Proven experience of technical and commercial skills combining digital technologies.

3.    With experience in conducting technical seminars in front of engineers and professionals;

4.    Knowledgeable in lubricants and is able to conduct Excel and PPT presentations on topics such as: Basics of Lubrication, Diesel Engine Lubrication and Lubricants Storage & Handling

5.    Proficient in technical report writing and good communication skills.

6.    Willing to travel
