Job Summary:
The Quantity Surveyor assigned to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection (MEPF) will work closely with the Quantity Surveyor Head and Costs & Contracts Manager in delivering cost management, estimating, tender assessment, variation evaluation, and financial reporting. The role will also be responsible for MEPF related commercial implications of the design work at various stages of the project from pre-contract to post-contract.
Job Responsibilities:
Work on all aspects of cost management, planning and estimating from inception of project through to completion.Manage cost analysis, value engineering, and budget review.Support the team in the tender estimate analysis and e
valuation.Provide detailed bill of quantities for tendering and co
nstruction administration.Prepare and compile budget, financial reports, mo
nthly progress claims and the like for the Co
ntract Manager’s review and approval.Provide procurement advice on costing.Ensure compliance with procedures relating to tendering, e
valuation, award of co
ntracts & claims, EOT computation and final accounts.Ensure completion of all tasks under Quantity RACI matrix.Assist in verifying claims and payments throughout the design and co
ntract co
nstructions stages.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.At least ten (10) years of working experience with five (5) years related in Quantity Surveying works on large scale building and infrastructure projects.Knowledgeable in using Buildsoft, CostX or similar software is an advantage.Experience in Airport and/or heavy infrastructure projects is an advantage.Familiar with quantity survey processes, controls, procedures, standards, and deliverables for co
nstruction project from pre-co
ntract to post-contract.Familiar with procedures for project co
ntract administration, general business administration and project management.Knowledge in standard forms of co
ntract preferred.Knowledge of Estimate classification (AACE), Elemental analysis and standards of measurement (RICS, CESMM) is an advantage.Willing to be assigned in Pasig City.
