The Research Manager is responsible for managing and executing the Center’s day-to-day operations, including research, information dissemination, writing of project proposals and reports, and organizing events.
He/she is also responsible for managing the Center’s revenues and expenses, and ensuring that all activities and expenditures are align with approved budgets.
In support of the Executive Director, the Research Manager provides leadership and technical guidance to other researchers employed by the Center in producing high quality policy papers and journal articles.
He/she is also responsible for fostering relationships with donors and partner institutions.
Education: At least a Master’s degree in Economics
Minimum Experience: At least seven (7) years overall work experience preferably related to research; and two (2) years management experience. At least five (5) years of overall research experience, and at least one (1) publication in an international peer-reviewed journal
