The Industry Development Manager establishes and oversees partnerships between WSGSB and external stakeholders. S/he is responsible for meetings, activities, events, and other related tasks that will help WSGSB promote strong and fruitful relations with its partners. S/he works with all other departments to ensure that program targets and requirements for the different engagements are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops partnerships as a result of strategic planning and development of work plans in fulfillment of the targets and requirements of the different programs which includes:
· iMBA Action Consulting Projects
· EMBA, MCS, and OMBA Capstone Projects
· Industry Partnerships
· Sponsorship
2. Interface with the WSGSB programs, the different programs at AIM, faculty members, and external partners especially with guests, collaborators, and scholarship and project sponsors. This includes liaising through formal correspondences, meetings, and other ad-hoc activities.
3. Head, organize, and manage publicity and networking engagements in line with promoting collaborations and partnerships as needed by the different WSGSB programs. This includes webinars, focus-group discussions, and B2B information sessions. S/he manages identification and invitation of potential partners through and from these events.
4. Discuss and negotiate the scope, payment, and other requirements of engagements under the advisory of the Career Services Office, WSGSB Programs, FSG, Legal Team, and other relevant stakeholders. This includes overseeing the completion of documents such as MOA, NDA, and TOR, in cooperation with the Program and Capstone Coordinators.
5. Recognize the needs of stakeholders and identify the appropriate engagement to assign or link with. This necessitates familiarity with the different programs and competencies within WSGSB.
6. Performs other related tasks as specified in the operation's quality manual or operational handbook of the program, school, and the institute.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or business administration or accountancy or equivalent. Preferably, with a Master in Business Management (MBA) or licensed CPA or equivalent Minimum
Experience: 5 years diverse and accumulative experience in administrative positions, project management or coordination, customer service, management, or training
Business Understanding: Functional areas of Business Administration, Marketing and Finance
