By joining us as a Global Sourcing Specialist, you will complete a 30-day extensive training conducted by our Global Sourcing Team process experts and leaders across the globe. After the training program, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for managing the Emerson sourcing process for all categories of indirect materials and services procurement.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Execute necessary RFx to include requests for information, proposals, quotes, and bids to support the category management teamConduct award scenario analysis to supplement the category management and analytics teams’ decision-makingProvide insights to the sourcing and category management teams regarding negotiations and potential improvements to future negotiations during sourcing eventsAssist the sourcing team in planning end to end sourcing events and following execution to ensure timely completionConduct necessary sourcing requirements and report potential timeline and resource adjustments to the Sourcing SupervisorAssist in building the RFx tools and templates for sourcing executionPerform digital sourcing requirements and events in Oracle and other procurement systems

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations, or similar. Preference: Advanced course/ Master’s Degree and/or professional certifications in Procurement, Technology, Strategy, and/or Project management3+ years of experience in project management, procurement operations, global sourcing, supplier management, commodity risk management, strategic planning, budgeting and financial reporting etc.Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word software, as well as e-Procurement tools (Ariba, Oracle Procurement / Sourcing Applications, etc.).
