Job Description

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for providing proper merchandising and marketing tools that include advertising, public relations, printed literature, direct mail, promotions, social media platforms, and collateral items to promptly assist in attaining the objectives stated on the Marketing Plan and PR Plan.

He/She is fully responsible for the Brand Image of the Hotels, as well as, attaining the full mileage of the brand in all facets of the PR Industry.

Handles and takes responsibility for all promotional and marketing activities outlined in the Marketing Plan.

Keep track and effectively respond to guest complaints posted on the website, booking engines, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

To ensure success, the Marketing Communications Manager should possess excellent communication skills, customer service, and conflict resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

Degree in Public Relations or Mass Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or any related course.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5-year experience in a first-class deluxe Hotel and obtained a supervisory position for at least 2 years.3 years of experience as a Marketing or Communications Manager in an international-class hotel or in a similar capacity.Grossly familiar with the Marketing and promotional strategy of a Hotel and Restaurant business.

PREREQUISITES:

Excellent communication and organizational skills.FLUENCY IN ENGLISH IS A MUST.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SPECIALIZATION:

Must be physically and mentally fit.Willing to be assigned in Baler, Aurora.

Unquestionable integrity.Able to contain and maintain confidentiality in all matters and issues; should be able to assess what is confidential and not.Self-starter with a very pleasant disposition and passion for the job.Ability and capability to handle conflict/s and resolve problems immediately.Excellent time-management skills and ability to delegate and handle multiple priorities.Strong organizational and teamwork skills focusing on External/Internal customer service and satisfaction with a HIGH LEVEL OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL.Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with peers, management, and superiors.Excellent interpersonal skills and full understanding of professional ethics, decorum, and social skills required for extensive interaction with guests, employees, and business partners.Ability to do a critical analysis of any financial data whether operational or administrative.Ability to work independently, with very minimal supervision.Critical-thinking skills.A warm and caring disposition.Sheer common sense must always be present.Team builder/player.Tactful and very sensitive to guests’ issues and employee concerns.Willing to render long hours of work when needed.Excellent administrative skills.
