Supervises a team of Quality Control inspectors assigned to different Plants, Departments and Sections manufacturing and packing plastic and paper packaging products. The person will be responsible for streamlining the QC organization, hiring, training, developing work plans, implementing rules, regulations and policies, disciplining and recognition, monitoring the inspection and testing of materials and products ensuring adherence to established quality standards. The person will also lead in establishing inspection protocols, define sampling procedures and determine equipment and mechanism to be used in the testing procedure.
QUALIFICATION
a. Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field required
b. 10 years work experience in a Quality Control supervisory position preferably in a plastic and paper packaging manufacturing plant
c. Has clear initiative and can work with minimal supervision
d. Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required
e. Creative thinker and hard worker
f. Good written and oral communications skills
g. Must know how to drive
