The Sustainability Officer will analyze and predict the Firm’s outlook and stability anchored on these three pillars: economic, environmental, and social impact. S/He helps evaluate and determine how to increase sustainable practices in the future. This requires skills in project planning, financial management and thorough approach towards environmental responsibility. The goal of the post is to help minimize the Firm’s environmental impact.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the overall execution, mission, and efficacy of the sustainability program.Assess and analyze Firm policies and processes to identify areas in which improvements can be made in accordance with the organization's commitment to sustainability.Set policies, goals and objectives to assure that the Firm maintains and even exceeds productivity and profitability, and meets or exceeds environmental policy.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability programs.Develop project proposals, sustainability reports, grant applications, presentations, and marketing campaigns.Conduct research to identify environmental and sustainability concerns, interests, and issues.Coordinate and administrate business transformation activities (workshops, meetings, projects etc.).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Social Sciences and other related coursesPreferably 4 years experience working in the sustainability sectorThorough and current knowledge of sustainability practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
