1. Ensures and maintains safety facilities located in the assigned area
2. Ensures compliance with environmental policies pertinent to company needs
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Ensures that all HES policies, procedures, rules and regulations are communicated and complied with in the assigned region.
2. Ensures that all accidents are documented, investigated, and recommendations are implemented.
3. Ensures that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills are correctly reported; and safety inspections, risk assessments, and working procedures are managed in the assigned region.
4. documents and maintains health and safety inspections, audits, and checks in the assigned region.
5. Prepares, manages, and safekeeps all DOLE required reports.
6. Monitors and keeps abreast of relevant OSH issues and best practices and communicates/escalates updates to stakeholders and relevant organizations/committees.
7. Liaises with suppliers for procurement of health and safety resources in the assigned region.
8. Ensures delivery and execution of safety training, as needed.
9. Implements, executes and monitors plans and programs in accordance with environmental laws and regulations in each locality within the assigned region.
10.Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Preferred Qualifications for this Role:
Graduate of any Engineering coursePreferably, a licensed Mechanical Engineer or Chemical EngineerWith at least 4 years experience in implementing HES (engineering) With at least 5 years experience in implementing HES (non-engineering)With at least 2 years in supervisory roleWith at least 2 years of experience in OSHWith mandatory forty (40) - hour basic OSH (BOSH/COSH) training course applicable to the industryWith additio
nal forty - eight (48) hours of advanced/ specialized occupatio
nal safety training course relevant to the industry and with other requirements as prescribed by OSH standardsTrained in PCO is an advantageQualified SO3 level
