Job Overview:
Achieves maximum sales profitability & volume growth by increasing product placement and distribution reach. Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale. Keep and increase business share of customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales targets and manage trade accounts receivables
• Build good working relationships with customers
• Understand the needs of your business customers / listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
• Present the product or service favorably and in a structured professional way face-to-face. / Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
• Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales. / Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
• Research the market and related products
• Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
• Check the quantities of goods on display and in stock
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
• Gather market and customer information. / Feed future buying trends back to employers.
• Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree of Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent.
• 1-2 Sales Experience; may be combined with some level of customer service or inside sales experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, including presentations skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong sense of initiative and great time management skills
• Responsible and strong sense of ownership
• Willing to be trained locally and abroad
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
