Section Manager – Piping/Mechanical shall ensure that all deliverables of Piping / Mechanical Section will be completed within schedule, in good quality and in accordance to Client’s requirements and established Engineering Procedure.

rame. Manages the operatio
nal activities of the Section by supervising and mo
nitoring daily activities to ensure compliance to requirements and targets will be met.Reviews and approves MTO, drawings and other pertinent docu
ments by checking for completeness prior to issuance to other department.Assists Estimating by providing preliminary design, MTO and GA drawings for Bid projects.Assist Project Co
ntrols by providing Engineering estimated man-hours and manpower requirement for Bid projectsPerforms other related works such as engineering assistance to Production when needed to expedite fabrication worksPlans and develops systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the sectio
nResponsible for hiring, training and coaching employees.Establishes areas of respo
nsibility and resource allocation of subordinates.e
valuates team performance and makes plan to reach goals & objectives.Develops & establishes regular output expectations & target of the section.Motivates subordinates working adherence with some flexibility as the situation requires.Maybe assigned on other duties by immediate superior within his level of competence.
Minimum Qualifications:
§ BS Mechanical Engineering graduate.
§ Basic knowledge in Piping / Mechanical detailing.
§ Proficient in interpreting design drawings.
§ Knowledgeable in using Microsoft applications.
§ With good analytical and judgmental skills.
§ Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
§ Has leadership qualities and management skills
Minimum Experience:
§ Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of construction and fabrication of steel structures with particular expertise in the preparation of detailed fabrication drawings.
