Job Description

Main Responsibility

Provide factory/site engineering with the required competence on Factory Automation System (FAS), Process Control System and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to effectively support manufacturing operational activities and continuously improve manufacturing performance. 

To manage the supply (may include in-house generation) and distribution of electricity to ensure that it is at all times safe, reliable, secure and sustainable. It covers low, medium and high voltage installations.

The Automation engineering is a cross-functional discipline that requires proportional knowledge in hardware and software development and their application.

Objectives:

To ensure proper maintenance, repair and installation of the whole electrical, instrumentation, and communication systems of the entire factory in the most expeditious manner at the least cost and manpower

To ensure the good operating condition of process and general service instruments and controllers for the safe processing of high quality products.

Sees to it that maintenance, repair and installation of all electrical instrumentation and communication system are done in accordance to proper engineering practices and appropriate codes and standards

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and MES.

In-depth knowledge of electricity particularly low voltage installations. 

Good knowledge of local electrical code and standards.

Knowledge of food processing operations and technology. 

Knowledge on manufacturing IT.

Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety,

Analytical skills in Problem Solving.

Maintenance & Improvement, Energy & Project Management.

Local language and/or English.

Automation toolbox (From PLC, HMI to FAS MES and integration).

International Standards: S88 & S95.

MS Office/MS Project.

Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM).

Asset & Maintenance Management (

Requirements:

Licensed Electrical Engineer/ Licensed BSECE/BSEE or instrumentation licenseMinimum 8 years experience in supervisory position in industrial plant or food manufacturing companyPLC and computer literate.
