metallurgist 

Seeking an experienced and motivated metallurgist to deliver operational aspects of our Didipio Process Plant metallurgy. Reporting to the Senior metallurgist, to safely provide metallurgical input into the efficient running of the Process Plant and associated services areas to maximize the copper tonnes and gold ounces recovered. Experienced metallurgist for at least 6 years in a metallic Mine processing plant and exposure to gold and copper base metal extraction including exposure to Automated Control Systems (DCS) and SCADA is more preferred.

about the role

Performs troubleshooting and investigate metallurgical operational duties as required to ensure Process Plant is optimized;Conducts and reports projects for current and future processes refinements;Liaises with Maintenance personnel to ensure technical requirements of the Process Plant are met;Proficiently uses PI and DCS to monitor process plant performance through effective automation;Provides ongoing training and development for the metallurgical Technicians to ensure adherence to safe work practices, particularly in relation to the handling of hazardous materials, and supplies technical guidance and training in the formulation of these practices.
