Role/Department Description:The Senior Content Analyst will apply investment knowledge and primary source research to classify funds, and to write descriptive reports on Exchange-Traded Funds and Mutual Funds investment strategies. This position will serve as a subject matter expert on fund classification for the FactSet Manila office. As the Fund Description Specialist advances, s/he will be expected to train junior team members.FactSet’s ETF Analytics team is dedicated to making FactSet the global leader in institutional-level ETF Analysis. With a focus on quality and expertise in all facets of ETF exposures, costs, and risks, ETF Analytics serves as FactSet’s in-house ETF experts. The ETF Analytics team is poised to be a center of innovation and growth within FactSet.Responsibilities:Classify ETFs using FactSet’s proprietary methodologyCompose overview of fund characteristicsCompose brief fund descriptionsRespond to client queries on classifications and overview textDemonstrate continuous learning of fund classifications and evaluationActively share ideas towards process and output improvementsIndependent management of the workload assigned within stipulated timelineReport and consult team mentor/leader/manager for any and all work related questions and concernsMentor/train and coach less experienced hiresRequirements:Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Business-related equivalents OR Degree in Communication, Journalism equivalentsStrong written English language communication skillsAttention to detail and diligence to taskAbility to collaborate and to reach out for clarification and feedback from supervisorsWillingness to work with remote managersWillingess to undergo training for 3-5 months in a GY Shift (10:00pm-6:00am)Working schedule after the training is MidshiftInclude a formal cover letter along with your resume/CV narrating your interest and qualifications for the roleDesired Skills:CFA or progress towards CFA is strongly preferredExperience in and understanding one or more of the following: ETFs, Mutual Fundsabout FactSetFactSet is a leading provider of integrated online financial and economic information to the global financial community.
