Brief Description
The Inbound Manager will be responsible for managing, improving inbound processes, applying for clearances, ensuring that inbound process comply with government regulation and accurate forecasting of container arrivals, timely processing of payments, efficient pick-up and delivery of containers from the port with minimal cost, effective and efficient claims resolution.
The Inbound Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager which requires strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manages the inbound processes of the company, including processing of payment of suppliers;Applies for the SPS Clearance of goods to be im
ported;Accurately forecasts the arrival of containers, and co

ntainers and demurrage expenses, as well as clearance costs;Ensures that suppliers are paid on time;Ensures value-for-mo
ney in resolving incidents requiring claims from the supplier; andWorks with other departments and third-party providers to ensure effective pickup of container/sDevises strategies to ensure the timely arrival of co
ntainers and/or reduce the risk exposure of the company due to delayed arrivals.Provides vision, direction, and motivation to the team and stakeholders; Champions the core values of the company; Can work with colleagues to come up with creative solutions to problems; andChallenges the status quo and comes up with ways how to always improve.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration major in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or any course in Business At least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain managementTraining in Logistics and supply chain management related courses, Project Management

Communication Skills
Can comfortably speak and write in English;Coordinates with Suppliers and other external stakeholders; andPresents comprehensive and insightful reports to the stakeholders and management team in a manner that is easily understood.
