Responsible for overseeing all cashiering-related activities (front end and back end systems) for assigned area. This includes technical training of all Cashiers / Sales Associates, initial testing and review of new system upgrades or versions, and provides assistance in updating cashiering policies and procedures.
1. CASHIER TRAINING
1.1 Trains all Cashiers / Sales Associates on the POS system and all cashiering-related processes within area of assignment.
1.2 Conducts training assessment to measure the Cashiers / Sales Associates level of understanding.
1.3 Ensures the conduct of training evaluation for Cashiers / Sales Associates to gauge effectiveness of the training program.
2. SYSTEM APPLICATION AND SUPPORT
2.1 Tests functionality of new system, version or upgrades based on set standards (i.e. speed / system performance, etc.).
2.2 Assists in the implementation of system enhancements / upgrades
2.3 Provides support to first level cashiering-related concerns
3. CASHIERING POLICIES IMPLEMENTATION
3.1 Cascades new and existing policies and procedures to all Store and Cashiering Personnel
3.2 Conducts random checking on compliance with cashiering policies and procedures.
4. PROJECT MANAGEMENT ....
4.1 Assists in the implementation of cashiering-related projects in the business unit.
4.2 Assist the Front End Systems Manager in benchmarking of cashiering systems and processes of competitors
5. REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENTS
5.1 Prepares cashiering-related reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Others, Marketing or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): knowledge in jda system, people management, cashiering operations, Project Management.
• Required language(s): English, Filipino
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees.
