DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage system to account for financial transactions by overseeing a chart of accounts; define and recommends bookkeeping and accounting policies and proceduresMaintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactionsBalance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entriesMaintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summariesBalance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconcile entriesManage entire accounts payable cycle using accounting software and other programsEstablish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendorsEnsure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental proceduresProcess due invoices for payments, accrue expenses as neededReconcile Company Bank Accounts and Credit Card StatementsCompare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other chargesAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in bookkeepingAccounts payable experienceExperience in QuickBooksBasic Xero knowledge or experienceGood english written and problem-solving skillsGoogle calendar, and social media (Facebook and Instagram) experience
