Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises the operations of the Radiology office and assigned staff.Respo
nsible for the renewal of relevant permits of the Department of Health (DOH)Makes routine check-up for the machine and within the section upon the endorsement of the outgoing CT scan Technologist.Positions patients, adjusts CT scan equipment to correct proper voltage settingsDevelops film by automatic or digital radiograph.Provides protection in accordance with prescribed safety standard.Maintains CT- Scan files and carries out standard procedures for release of CT-Scan information.Explains diagnostic procedures to the patients before and after the procedure.Practices sterile as necessary to prevent cross- co
ntaminationAssist radiologist when interpreting CT-scan imagesAssist radiologist or physician in doing special proceduresPrepares and administer by orally / rectally chemical mixtures for patients examinatio
nEncoding the request examination to the Hospital Information System
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic TechnologyRegistered Radiologic TechnologistThree (3) years clinical or medical work experience related to the job function Licensed/Certified to operate the following: CT scan machine, X-ray machine , ultrasound machine , portable x-ray machine.
