JOB DEscriptION:
I. documentation
a. Maintain customer files and office records of all instrument testing and repair activities.
b. Prepares work schedules and prioritization of instruments for testing and/or repair.
c. Keep updated records of parts withdrawal, parts ordering and return of borrowed parts to specific instruments.
d. Generate regular monthly reports for review of the Service Manager and the management team.
II. Internal Testing
a. Receive, record and monitor instrument testing requests routed to the Service Department
b. Through the direction of the Service Manager, assign testing to Service Engineers and monitor completion
c. Upon completion, tag and document tested instruments and endorse to Warehouse.
III. Repairs
a. Receive, record and monitor instrument repair requests routed to the Service Department.
b. Through the direction of the Service Manager, assign to Service Engineers and monitor completion.
c. Upon completion, document and return to Warehouse/Logistics/Customer where applicable.
IV. Quality Check
a. Perform 1st level troubleshooting of instruments for repair
b. Ensure the necessary quality check in terms of instrument performance and completeness of accessories upon packing of the instruments.
V. Coordination
a. Coordinate with Marketin g especially in the ordering of spare parts.
b. Coordinate with Sales and Applications team for the status of testing and repairs.
c. Assist the Service Manager whenever needed and perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
