This role is for a data analyst / senior analyst with proven experience in analyzing new/existing datasets, cleansing “messy” datasets, blending multiple sources of data together, and developing automated workflows to uncover insight and make recommendations for data improvements. As we continue moving further into predictive analytics, statistical modeling and machine learning will become part of the role.
Responsibilities:
Support the Marketing Operations & Analytics Director to develop the analytics team, operating model, and strategy, and engage stakeholders across the marketing sales and product teamsCollect data through a variety of sources, cleanse and join this data togetherAutomate data collection, joining, cleansing, and insight generatio
nBuild advanced machine learning and statistical models off the back of “clean” datasets, utilizing algorithms such as decision trees, logistic and linear regression, clustering, anomaly detection, and othersMaintain and improve current dashboards by adding in new data, improving visualizations, and improving user interfaces allowing users to make decisions better, faster, and smarter
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree holderStrong SQL skills across any databa
se enviro
nment (e.g., SQL Server / My SQL / Oracle) with at least 3 years of hands-on experienceStrong understanding of relatio
nal data infrastructures, and some knowledge of “big data” infrastructuresExperience in data visualization tools, Power BI preferredStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrategic and analytical thinker – sees the “big picture” and a problem solverExperience in a marketing analytics role is highly desirable Experience or knowledge of statistical and machine learning models such as decision trees, linear/logistic regression, and clustering.Training can be provided for the right candidateWilling to work on a flexible schedule
