JOB SUMMARY: The Field Trials Officer plans and manages all stages of the trials procedure. The position works closely with the product development team to match their requirements. Moreover, they are involved in coordinating field trial locations, monitoring the conditions, and overseeing the fair collection of data.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Co
nducts in-house trials on new products against the target pest on various crops (rice, eggplant, corn, tomato, beans, cabbage, fruit trees, etc.)Prepares experimental materials, specimen, crops, pests for the in-house trialsCollects data from the different inhouse trialsCo
nducts field verification trials at farmers' field for new & existing productsCollects insect, weeds, diseases and other specimen from the field for mass rearing for the in-house trialsPurchases and hauling of experimental supplies and materials, fertilizers, etc .Prepares trial report and presentatio
nAnalyzes the data as needed to determine the differences between treatmentsSupervises farm workers (for in-house trial site)Facilitates trainings & lectures on safe handling of pesticides, pest & diseases, product technical competency, etc.Co

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of at least a 4-year course in Agriculture, preferably Agro
nomy or Plant PathologyMust have at least 3 years of experience in co
nducting field trials and researchAt least 1 to 2 years of experience in leading a teamMust be adept at data collection, analysis and reporting-
