JOB SUMMARY:
Supervise Vessel operatio
nsCoordinate with port authorities and government agencies and the requirements of the vessel Ensures on-time arrival/ departure according to the proforma schedule set by liner management
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check vessel schedule through Daily position report and or C - reportCoordinate with the local team to issue port-specific berth plans to the terminal and local agents Prepares cheque 1 wk prior to vessels arrival- (payment for port dues) Prepares and submit berth application to Terminal and CIQEnsures terminal receives departure EDI from assigned ship manager- upon vessel departure from last portcheck and validate through MaCS3 with the ship manager and report/ rectify the discrepancy Provide CS and partners with discharging list Liaise on stowage with terminal operators and loading agentCoordinate with the terminal on the ordering of Pilots, Tugs, mooringReview terminal departure reports and dispute unjustified costMo
nitor and inform the inform Ops Assistant Manager of any ops-related issuesCommunicate with the Logs team and ensure a special permit to load is submitted to BOCInform CIQ of the vessel's actual arrivalApply for DG clearance to PPA (if vessel is carrying DG cargoes) Ensure timely submission of SPL, to
nnage report, ED and etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any 4-year Business Admin course.With good communication skills. Attention to detail and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude are required to manage various respo
nsibilities and deliverables. The ability to work under pressure and deliver against deadline co
nstraints is essential. Excellent co
nceptualization and analytical skills.Work experience in the Shipping Industry has an advantage.Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
