JOB DEscriptION:
Research the Internal Revenue Code as needed to ensure proper tax treatment of new transactions or events impacting our clients' income tax situatio
nCollaborate with the bookkeeping and financial reporting team members to ensure new GL transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system for tax purposesPrepare tax annual income tax returns for partnerships, S corps, C corps, and sole proprietorships following the company's standard procedures and completing all required work papers and checklistsPrepare quarterly tax filings or estimated tax payments for clients Perform bookkeeping tasks and other assigned projects
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s in Accounting or Taxation At least one year of US tax preparation experience and two years of general account experienceThe ability to pay attention to detail and be very organized The ability to multi-task and work independently at times The ability to self-manage during busy times and know when to escalate issuesCan start ASAP
