Sr. SEO Product Specialist - Job Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CLIENT RELATIONS

·        Fluent in English (US)

·        Required to work during US office hours (8 AM to 4 PM Pacific Time)

·        Manage and maintain SEO client accounts

·        Communicate to clients and make outbound calls for technical discussion and support

·        Escalation from sales/support teams about issues/concerns regarding product delivery, service, and scope

SEO

·        Implementation of SEO solutions to in-house client websites

·        Knowledge regarding latest trends in SEO and updates in algorithmic changes

·        Knowledge regarding upcoming algorithmic changes and possible effect on platform on a scale

·        Working knowledge of:

o  Wordpress

o  WP Bakery

o  HTML

o  CSS

o  JS

o  PHP

o  SQL

o  Python

o  APIs

o  On-page optimization

o  Technical optimization

o  Off-page optimization and link building

o  Local map pack/Google Business Profile optimization

o  Local SEO

o  Content curation, optimization and maintenance

DIGITAL MARKETING

·        Create, maintain, troubleshoot, and proofread Google Data Studio reports

·        Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager scripts, accounts, and properties

·        Understands the lifecycle of digital marketing

·        Understands how different channels affect the organic channel

·        Understands the ranking factors that affect specific niches

·        Identify KPIs and benchmark percentages of industry relevant metrics for measurement

·        Working knowledge of:

o  Search and display advertising

o  Social media marketing

o  Reputation management

o  Brand management

PRODUCT SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT

·        Subject matter expert for product integration and Google Marketing Platforms

·        Subject matter expert for integration with other digital marketing tools or platforms congruent with SEO and websites

·        Initiative to discover potential opportunities to grow website performance

·        Adept understanding with Wordpress/Website development (front and back)

·        Adept understanding with Domain Management

·        Adept understanding with 3rd party website integrations (plug-ins and tech stack relevance)

MANAGEMENT

·        Understands ranking factors and be able to communicate them properly to the SEO, sales, development, and management teams

·        Ability to communicate to high level management for product development, issues, and progress

·        Technical recruitment for junior, mid and senior level SEO/SEM Specialists

·        Support for development teams regarding update, upgrades and new technology that affects SEO
