Roles and Responsibilities:
1. To support the COO and the overall business in all operation support function, you will prioritize, delegate, supervise and support the daily gym operations and ensure a fair distribution of workload across your team members.
2. You will handle the facilities management including but not limited to Aircon, Equipment repairs, and procurement both for Corporate Office and Corporate Clubs.
3. You will manage overall operations support and will be responsible for the effective and successful management of the team’s productivity, gym quality control and safety measures at the club operations and at the corporate office.
4. You will ensure safe and efficient back-office operations support commercially such as vendor management and landlord negotiations.
5. You are expected to coordinate matters and Standard Operating Procedures with the Shared Services Team from Human Resources, Finance and Legal.
6. You will serve as a company representative on regulatory issues and ensure that the organization is compliant with all business permits and all government regulatory compliance.
7. You will create the standard operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and looks for opportunities to expand systems. You will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
8. Your roles and responsibilities may include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; authoring and discussing with employee’s performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field
2. Experience in developing budgets and business plans
3. Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
4. Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software (ex: SAP, ERP, CRM)
5. 5 or more years in a senior leadership role in a field related to our industry
6. Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success
7. Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
8. Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
9. Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands
10. Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
