Location: Taguig city, Philippines

Reporting to: National Distributor Manager

WHAT THIS POSITION IS about - PURPOSE

The Distribution Development Specialist supports the Sales Management by scouting and assessing potential DP, and developing effective business plan for the DP under certain territory. Supports M&S by providing expertise in developing efficient process and initiating cross functional collaboration in order to identify risks and opportunities for business growth.

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

Territory Conquest:Scouting and assessing of potential DPs. Ensure DP poolings for certain territory.Assist RTM team in identifying best distribution model for a certain territory and ensure proper communication of the plan to the Sales Management team.Manage negotiations in terms of DP remuneration and ensure closure of contract/agreement.Ensures business plan/directions in relation to the territory development under DP are communicated to all stakeholders.Assist JTI internal function in defining the DP admin roles.Territory Development:Create detailed business plan together with the Operations and Finance team thru DP scorecard to ensure indetification of risks to resolve and opportunities for business growth.Perform monthly touchpoint with operations and finance to review the monthly result of the DP Scorecard.Perform quarterly touchpoint with operations, finance and the DP owner to review the quarterly result of the DP scorecard.Seeks out new market insights and business opportunities through research and analysis (with trade visit).evaluate new opportunities; presents findings clearly and makes recommendations for action.DP Management:Develop data management of DP costs, and DP poolsFacilitate contract renewal and assist on DP disengagementPerform P&L analysis to understand cost and benefit thru JTI investement and DP required capitalAssist M&S and DP to close pending claims from programsAssist in having smooth interactions between DP and M&S and FinanceProvide timely DP scorecard result to the stakeholdersPlanning and Administration:Develop reporting analysis, system and other materials necesssary to achieve the organizational objective.Perform necessary administration in accordance to Company's requirement (JSOX).Perform PR/PO and GR for the DP remunerationAssist/Create OPB necessary for DP management purposes onlyManage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's requests.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management and Operation, or any related fieldMinimum 2 years working experience in distribition management, with good knowledge in operation and territory analysis, and financial planning with multinational FMCG experience.Fluent in oral and written English.Advance excel and database managementStrong analytical skillStrong collaboration and communication skillsFinancial AcumanAbility and willingness to work effectively with minimum supervision
