Job Description 1. BUSINESS ACUMEN- Define root cause factors from data, experience and judgment and converting that knowledge intotimely and actionable decisions. Develop OGSM, Portfolio Strategy, annual business plans, re-estimate/contingency plansand translate these into in market execution.2. ConSUMER INSIGHTING - Identify knowledge gaps, plan and execute strategic & tactical research, interpret marketresearch results and enrich our understanding of consumer/shopper motivations and behaviors in order to develop marketingplans that build brand and commercial equity.3. BRAND/PRODUCT POSITIonING - evaluate market segments, current/prospective gaps and opportunities in order todevelop and recommend positioning strategies.4. COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING & EXECUTION - Work with partners (both internal and external) to develop anintegrated multi channel communications (ATL, BTL, PR, in store) that connects Brand positioning, CommunicationStrategy and Creative Execution to targeted consumers. This involves development of communications materials and annual media strategy/plans.5. PROMOTIONS - Conceptualize, implement & evaluate consumer promotions (in store or out of store) that are aligned with brand strategy.6. FINANCIAL PLANNING - Plan, monitor and analyze brand financial requirements and budgets in order to grow thebusiness and enhance long term viability. Drives for continuous optimized utilization of resources, to drive sales,consumption and shares.7. FORECASTING - Undertake accurate short and long term demand forecasting to provide the organization with useful inputs for supply planning.8. PRICING - Develop and implement pricing strategies and programs for the brand assigned, based on knowledge ofcompetitive price positioning and trade's retail pricing practices.9. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - Generate new product ideas that build brand value and manage the New ProductDevelopment Process from ideation to commercialization to build the company's product portfolio and competitiveness.10. PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Organize and manage resources to deliver the required project output within a defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.11. SALES & CATEGORY MANAGEMENT - Understand flow of good from manufacturer to consumer in order to identifygaps and opportunities where programs can be implemented. Ability to integrate customer insights and partner with sales toidentify opportunities and build strategies that grow brands.12. PRINCIPAL MANAGEMENT – Work with principals in creating and executing annual business plans and providesinformation needed.13. COMMUNICATION - Speak clearly and concisely, listen attentively to concerns expressed by others; Encourages others to express their views, even contrary ones. Ability to provide compelling reasons for ideas to gain support of others.14. OTHERS – Work on other tasks assigned by the Immediate Superior/Marketing Head.
