Job Summary:
The Senior HR Operations specialist role focuses on effectively fulfilling and delivering tasks related to the following:
- Strategic Partner – assists line managers in solving organization, people and even change-related issues.
- Change Agent – institutionalizes change capability within the organization
- Administrative Expert – creates and delivers effective and efficient HR processes, services tailored to unique business requirements
- Employee Champion – helps build workforce commitment
Accountabilities:
• Provides HR administration support in the whole spectrum of the HR Operations or HR Business Partnership functions i.e. On-boarding, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Policy Design, Timekeeping and HR Reporting
• As a HR business partner, acts as the first point of contact (POC) in addressing employee inquiries pertaining to policies, timekeeping, benefits, systems, etc.
• Performs day-to-day HR Operations which includes conducting, facilitating New Hire Orientation (NHO) sessions for new hires/leaders, policy review and communication specially to supported teams/leaders
• Employee Relations work includes:
o Prepares, Reviews and recommends corresponding sanctions for Disciplinary Action (DA) documents like Notice-To-Explain, Suspension, Return-to-Work Order, Regularization letters, Performance Improvement Plan and Termination Letters;
o Approves and signs off on coaching logs, written warnings if and when consulted by the supported business /division
o Conducts exit interviews and communicates trends, findings from these sessions to develop recommendations to the business
o Manages through regular reviews all employee & labor relations programs to ensure compliance with policies and practices
o Facilitates HR Connect sessions/ Focus Group Discussions as needed
• Reports Management
o Able to generate, interpret and analyze simple to complex reports through HR Systems by providing insights, recommendations or action plans based on trends etc.,
o Maintains and updates employee information in the HR database and systems in accordance with prescribed formats and system requirements
• Project Implementation and Management
o Extends needed support in various process improvement initiatives within REPH and even the RELX group
• Engagement Driver
o Oversees and provides support, guidance in all engagement activities by REPH or even division-owned/driven engagement events; from design, development and implementation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree is a must
• Good communication and written skills
• At least 2 years of experience in HR business partnering
• Experience in employee relations is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions
• Detail oriented, demonstrated project management skills and an ability to work with tight deadlines & multiple deliverables
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills and has the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and negotiation skills
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills
• Amenable to work on a flexible schedule
