Job Description
Generally responsible for providing support in one or more significant functional Human Resources (HR) areas including, but not limited to, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement Programs, Training, and Organization Development, Culture Building, Corporate Communications, and special projects. Also, generally serves as the point person and takes the lead for the Philippines Human Resources department in the absence of the HR Director.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES•Acts as the overall coordinator of all company employee engagement activities and initiatives that HR that organizes and facilitates.•Conceptualizes, recommends, and implements approved organization-wide employee activities to include company meetings or townhalls, company-wide theme days, teambuilding activities, sports events, fund raising programs, leadership connect, year end events, and other employee engagement and retention initiatives.•Handles all corporate communications for Manila. Manages HR advisories to encompass all communications on HR programs, processes, and employee protocols and policies.•Conducts New Hires Orientation, Communication and Culture Training, Soft Skills, Program and Technical Training to employees. •Plans and conducts training programs for new hires, employee refresher programs and other skills development training for existing staff, road shows on HR processes, and other operational systems and procedures. Prepares instructional designs and instructional materials production.•Develops and maintains product, customer service, and systems training modules. Conducts follow throughs on the effectiveness of training programs and analyzes training needs.•Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings. Also assists in projects relating to employee policies and programs.•Provides support and involvement in special projects and researches under the direction of his/her lead or any senior authority.•Responsible for other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.MINIMUM COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTSEducation:Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Legal Management or equivalent.Work Experience: At least three required, five years preferred experience in Employee Relations & Engagement, Training, Employee Organization Development, and Corporate Communications. Two years of leadership experience preferred. Related experience preferably in a call center/IT or BPO environment.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.Leadership skillsADDITIonAL SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
