Reporting to the Director of Treasury, the Senior Manager, Global Treasury Services will assist with the development and implementation of CARE USA’s vision and strategy for CARE treasury operations worldwide. He / She will possess a strong combination of interpersonal and leadership skills coupled with an effective command of domestic and international Treasury knowledge in areas critical to the organization’s daily operations, including liquidity management (cashflow forecasting, cash concentration and optimization), bank relationship management, foreign exchange trading and risk management. In addition, the candidate will be highly proficient in matters related to financial controls, including best practices pertaining to fraud prevention and detection. The Senior Manager will have a strong background with Treasury innovation and the application of technical solutions to address complex issues in an operating environment encompassing 40 countries.
EDUCATION
-Bachelor's degree required in Finance or related field.
-Advanced degree (MBA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP, issued by the Association for Financial Professionals) or equivalent relevant experience strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE
-10 years+ experience in finance, accounting, or treasury management. --Strong experience with financial and investment markets.
-Strong experience in global corporate banking and bank relationship management.
-Intimate knowledge of domestic and international banking networks (ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT) as well as intermediary banking.
-Background with international NGO.
-Familiarity with FX markets including online bidding platforms and characteristics of exotic currencies.
-In depth knowledge of ERP Treasury / banking / payment related modules (Oracle / PeopleSoft preferred).
-High level of expertise with MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
-Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
-High-level of proficiency with financial modeling techniques including discounted cash flow, sensitivity and scenario analysis.
-Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills, including a track record of partnering and influencing across businesses and functions to achieve organizational goals. -Energetic, efficient, resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.
