1. Assists in the development and maintenance of budget monitoring systems.
2. Analyzes budget patterns, project expenditures and assists all divisions in preparing their budget using
templates.
3. Collects and analyzes financial data prepared by Accounting and performs additional analysis for
explanatory text required for monthly reports and statements.
4. Monitors and certifies expenditures throughout the budgetary period.
5. Develops variance reports and assists with the development and implementation of divisional budgets.
6. Uses appropriate cost rates such as indirect and benefit rates for proposed budgets and reviews budget
justification to ensure it relates to budgeted projects.
7. Prepares guidelines for budgeting.
8. Consolidates budget for all projects and departments.
9. Reviews budget and highlights major expenditures for management approval.
10. Reviews Budget versus Actual Expenditure Report per project and per department.
11. Reviews and recommends improvement in Company's budget monitoring system.
12. Strictly monitors capital expenditure requests coordinates with the Treasury Department for availability
of funds.
